Low carbon green economy, quietly heating up at home, is becoming an important economic form in recent years. Predicting NdFeB demand will reach 126,000 tons with year-on-year growth of about 15% in 2015. MIIT officials said: the next ten years authorities will invest 100 billion Yuan to build a new energy automotive industry chain; the experts said the new energy vehicles will be widely used in 2015.

As released the second batch of new energy vehicles to promote the city, a total of over 70 cities nationwide, is expected to demonstrate plan in these two group cities to the volume 330,000 in 2015.

According to the study report, NdFeB material consumption for each hybrid vehicle is about 2.5 kg and for each pure electric vehicle is 5 kg. NdFeB high demand of new energy vehicles will detonate development of NdFeB, especially high performance NdFeB.

To produce high quality and great quantity NdFeB products, it will set higher requirements for quality testing. Automobile safety issues cannot be underestimated. So it can’t be ignored the error detection and undetected results caused by susceptible subjective emotions when manual inspection. Thus, smart, fast, accurate and efficient automated detection methods become inevitable choice.

Detection accuracy is up to 10 microns or less, to reach high quality testing requirements of high-performance NdFeB. Under the new energy vehicles driving, the NdFeB industry gradually shows a return to growth in 2020, the year on year growth of NdFeB worldwide demand will be stabilized at above 10%.
